2012 Dodge Avenger, Durango and Journey Pricing Cut

The 2012 Model Year has brought good news for Dodge customers, as the automotive producer has cut the prices for the entry-level versions of the Avenger, Journey and Durango.

In case the performance enthusiast in you is rubbing his hands in excitement and picturing himself burning rubber in a 2012 Dodge Charger or 2012 Dodge Challenger, we have to give the you bad news: no price cuts for the muscle cars!

Returning to the “normal” models in the carmaker’s range, we’ll tell you that the 2012 Dodge Journey American Value pack comes with a starting price of $19,795 (this includes the $800 destination charge), which can be translated into a hefty decrease of $3,200 over the 2011 Dodge Journey Express.

As for the 2012 Dodge Durango, this starts at $29,845, including a $850 destination charge, which means that we get a $200 cut off the price of the 2011MY version. The 2012 Dodge Avenger will set you back $19,745, including a $750 destination charge, so we are dealing with a $250 price cut compared to the replaced model.

Since we mentioned the American muscle in Dodge’s range, we’ll also talk about its pricing. The 2012 Dodge Challenger has a starting price of $26,320, including a $825 destination charge, which can be translated into a $100 increase over the 2011 model, while the 2012 Dodge Challenger SXT will set you back $25,820, including a destinaton charge of $825, which makes it $100 more expensive than the outgoing model.
