2011 Pramac Racing Ducati MotoGP Team Presented

Satellite Ducati team Pramac Racing has been officially launched earlier this week, presenting the bike’s livery and riders for the 2011 MotoGP World Championship. Competing for the team this year will be Loris Capirossi and Randy de Puniet.

As for the GP11 bike, this will be sporting the same distinctive green and white livery for this year, as we were able to see at the unveiling ceremony held on the MSC Fantasia at the Port of Genoa in Italy.

Pramac Ducati riders Aleix Espargaro and Mika Kallio finished the 2010 season in 14th and 17th positions overall, but that doesn’t keep the team from hoping for more in the season to come.

"MotoGP for Pramac means adrenaline, passion and fun,” stated team principal Paolo Campinoti. “For ten years we are part of this world and we aim to stay here for many years. We're still a young and want to grow year after year to improve both in terms of results and in terms of services for our partners. For the season that is about to begin, we focused on top class riders like Loris Capirossi and Randy de Puniet.”

“We are sure that thanks to their talent we will have many opportunities to celebrate at the best our first ten years in MotoGP. We know that fighting with the official teams will be very tough: our minimum goal for this season is to become the first satellite team in the standings,”
he added.

"We know it'll be difficult to fight with the official teams, and our minimum objective is to finish this season as the best satellite team. Next year will be a new adventure with the introduction of the 1000cc engines. If this change helps to produce races of the type seen last year with the new Moto2 class, it will be great fun for everyone!"
