2011 Nissan Maxima, Sentra US Pricing Announced

The North American division of Nissan revealed today the US pricing for the 2011 Nissan Maxima and 2011 Nissan Sentra sedans, with the first starting at $30,810 and the latter at $20,080. Both models have received subtle modifications for 2011 and are already available for sale at nationwide dealerships.

Taken separately, the 2011 Maxima is offered in two equipment grades, Maxima 3.5 S and Maxima 3.5 SV, each featuring a standard 290 hp 3.5l DOHC V6 engine and Xtronic CVT transmission, with manual and "Ds" (drive sport) modes and available paddle shifters.

Revisions for 2011 include new rolled edge tailpipe finisher, new smoked headlights (Sport models), new dark chrome grille (Sport models) and shiny gray interior stitching (Sport models). Also offered are two new exterior colors, Metallic Slate and Brilliant Silver.

Inside, the Maxima comes with RearView Monitor and Nissan Hard Drive Navigation system with XM NavTraffic Real-Time Traffic Information and XM NavWeather, Voice Recognition and 9.3GB Music Box Hard Drive.

On the other hand, the 2011 Sentra is offered in six models – Sentra 2.0, 2.0 S, 2.0 SR, 2.0 SL and the performance-oriented Sentra SE-R and SE-R Spec V. The 2.0 models feature a standard 140 hp 2.0l engine, 6-speed manual transmission or Nissan Xtronic CVT. Sentra SE-R is equipped with a 177 hp 2.5l engine with Xtronic CVT and the SE-R Spec V offers a 200 hp 2.5l engine and a 6-speed manual transmission.

Changes for 2011 include the addition of a SE-R style rear spoiler for 2.0 CVT, 2.0 S and 2.0 SL models.  ABS with EBD is now standard on Sentra 2.0, and VDC and TCS have been added as standard equipment to the Sentra 2.0, 2.0 S and 2.0 SR.
