Here is a nice way to start, spend and end your day: studying the fresh gallery of 26 images showing the “making of” for the 2011 edition of the Miss Tuning calendar.
Let’s see what we've got here. There’s 26-year-old Kristin Zippel, a.k.a. Miss Tuning 2010, in a series of behind the scenes shots. These were taken in Detroit, Michigan and Sandusky, Ohio.
Oh, yes, we can also see a pumped-up Nissan 350Z, a Mustang, a classic ‘Vette Stingray (‘66 if you were wondering), a Jeep Wrangler and some hot-rods.
But let’s get back to the girl, shall we? Zippel took the Miss Tuning Crown by playing with the minds of the judges at the Tuning World Bodensee, an event that took place back in May. The award not only brought her this celebrity-like time, but also a Nissan Micra.
Yes, we know, the Micra is not quite a car that can create dreams, but since we are talking about the tuning word, all this could change. Who knows what a little passion might do for the Japanese sub-compact vehicle?
Now back to the girl again. Zippel took the title from the 2009 Miss Tuning Queen, 19-year-old Martina Ivezaj. The 2009 Queen had her share of good times posing for the calendar in the British Virgin Islands.
The current Queen comes from Germany, a country with an immense tuning culture that has given birth to a long list of extreme projects. In her everyday life, Zippel works as a therapist and surgery assistant.
