2011 Harley-Davidson 1200 Custom Presented

American motorbike manufacturer Harley-Davidson has just announced the introduction of a new bike to its 2011 model line-up, namely the 1200 Custom, a machine that debuts the H-D1 factory customization program. The 1200 Custom retails in the United States for $10,299.

Despite the fact that it’s a Sportster at heart, the new 1200 Custom comes with a wide front end and chunky 16-inch tire, new wheels, a pull-back handlebar, and a reshaped LED tail lamp. The model is what Harley likes to call “A Sportster with Fattitude.”

The new H-D1 factory customization program allows the customer to choose from seven option categories to optimize fit, function and style. By selecting from available factory-installed wheels, handlebars, seats, paint, foot control position, security system, and engine finish, the customer can create its very own, personalized 1200 Custom.
