2011 BusaBeats MC Battle Grand Prize Built by MJM

Launched in 2008 as a campaign to spotlight the diverse lifestyle and culture connected to the Suzuki Hayabusa and bridge it with consumers, the BusaBeats connects young, urban motorcycle enthusiasts and hip-hop audiences with one of the fastest production motorcycles in the world, through extensive social media involvement.

At the Progressive International Motorcycle Show in New York City last weekend, Suzuki announced the introduction of the 2011 BusaBeats MC Battle.

New this year is a partnership with Michael Jordan Motorsports, who will be building the grand prize for this year’s BusaBeats MC Battle winner – a customized 2011 Suzuki Hayabusa.

At the show, the original BusaBeats MC Battle winner J.PIGG and Michael Jordan Motorsports Technical Manager Richie Alexander made appearances to help announce the beginning of this year’s competition.

“We have a strong seven-year relationship with Michael Jordan Motorsports,”
said Suzuki Senior Communications Manager, Steve Bortolamedi, “we are honored to partner with them to provide a customized version of Suzuki’s class-leading Hayabusa as the grand prize for this year’s BusaBeats MC Battle.”

The BusaBeats MC Battle invites amateur MCs from around the country to add personalized lyrics about the Hayabusa to beat tracks created by celebrity record producers, and compete against each other using social media to collect “dope points,” and take their chance at winning one of the many top prizes.

The tracks are recorded online through an interactive recorder interface, and then posted via a BusaBeats branded player on MySpace and other social networks. You can visit the special dedicated website at the following link for further details on the BusaBeats contest.
