Only two days after German carmaker BMW pulled the wraps off their reinterpretation of the X5 SUV, the first images showing the M Sport Package hit the web today.
Although the information about it is still limited, the package, available on BMW' German website configurator lets slip the aggressive version of the series X5.
For the current generation, BMW's M prepared an aggressive front-fascia with large air intakes built into the front-bumper. The foglights have also been moved from above the bumper into the air intakes opening. According to BMWblog, pricing for the new M package is not yet available.
As for the regular X5, it will come with a choice of four engines. The SUV will come as xDrive50i, xDrive35i, xDrive40d and xDrive30d, all featuring EfficientDynamics and eight-speed automatic transmission as standard.
On the inside, the new X5 adds optional leather trim Nevada in Cinnamon Brown and Oyster, as well as a matt Satin Silver trim strip. The new BMW X5 is equipped as standard with iDrive control system with 6.5-inch control display (or 8.8-inch display when ordered in conjunction with the navigation system Professional). M Package tweaks are to be expected.
According to BMWblog, the new X5 will be priced in the US in between $46,675 for the X5 xDrive35i and $59,275 for the X5 xDrive50i.
