2010 Robin Hood Rally to Kick Off on May 22

Many drivers feel that a true racer is hidden inside them, just waiting for their car to enter a track to become unleashed. This feeling can easily turn into an uncontrolled urge to throw a vehicle through the corners and put the pedal to the metal. This is the reason for which the amateur motorsport events have been invented.

The U.S. is about to see yet another one of these races take place, as the 2010 Robin Hood Rally will kick off in Berlin, New Hampshire on may 22 and 23. The series of amateur races will see 55 men and women spend put Ferraris, Porsches, Corvettes, Lotuses, racing cars and other exotic automotive creations through their paces and spend two nights enjoying the local hospitality of Berlin.

The Berlin races can be witnessed live for an entrance fee ranging from $10 to $15, with all proceeds of local tickets being donated to the City of Berlin.

The rally will move on, as it is scheduled to include 10 races throughout the US. The event will see participants competing for prizes in excess on $500,000, including a Ferrari 430, a Porsche 911 and a Corvette Z51 convertible. The races are being filmed and will be turned into a reality show, which will be aired nationwide later this year
