The engine has a forged piston measuring 107 mm which, according to Moto Morini, is the largest ever built for a motorcycle of this category. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox and the fuel injection system features an integrated injection ignition system by Magneti Marelli.
In addition, the Corsaro Veloce has a multiple-plate clutch in oil bath with antiskipping system and radial master-cylinder. Other high quality parts have also been integrated, such as Ohlins shock-absorbers, Pirelli Diablo tires, Brembo brakes, 6-spoke Marchesini light alloy rims and radial pumps.
The 2010 Moto Morini Corsaro 1200 Veloce is available in three different versions, namely black with monochromatic upper structures in red, white, or all black.
“Designed for road use, the Moto Morini Corsaro 1200 Veloce gives the best of itself when maneuvering between curbs thanks to the control unit with racing mapping delivered with the bike and that promises a definite upgrade in performance. This sophisticated electronic component can be utilized only with open-type exhausts and is therefore installed only for track use on request of the customer,” a company statement said.
