2010 Cadillac SRX Causes a Stir in the Middle East

Even if it is projected to hit the market in December, the 2010 Cadillac SRX luxury crossover has generated a lot of comments, attracting a lot of interest from people who are willing purchase the new vehicle. General Motors says people in the Middle East are very enthusiastic with the new model as it promises to bring both premium features and performance yet efficient engines.

“The 2010 Cadillac SRX is the luxury crossover that everyone is waiting for. It combines style with functionality and puts the most advanced technology at the tip of your finger,” said Adib Takieddine, Cadillac Marketing Manager in the Middle East.

The new Cadillac model will be powered by a 3.0-liter VVT DOHC V6 SIDI engine that generates 283 horsepower at 6,950 rpm and 310 Nm of torque at 5,100 rpm. It will be offered in the Middle East in two trims, GM announced.

Feature highlights include a pop-up navigation screen, iPod interconnectivity, 40GB hard drive, standard Bose 8-speaker Centerpoint system or available Bose 10-speaker 5.1 Cabin Surround Sound system, Bluetooth, parking assist with available rear view camera, Adaptive Remote Start, Passive Entry System, a cooled glove box, an available Power Liftgate with programmable height positions and a rear cargo storage system.

Additionally, the car comes equipped with 8-inch seatback mounted flip-up LCD video screens with remote control for either playing video games or watching DVD movies.

GM will offer the 2010 Cadillac SRX with a free service and maintenance package for four years or 100,000 km.
