The sheer principle behind Porsche's 911 GT2 is insane, since we're talking about a Turbo with extra power and rear-wheel-drive, and yet this is precisely what makes the machine so special. And when a 997-generation GT2 shows up for sale, expect an astronomical price tag.
For now, we want to zoom in on the 2009 911 GT2 in the image gallery below, which has shown up at a Porsche dealer in Texas. Any GT2 is a rare gem, but according to the seller, we're talking about even more here.

It all has to do with the Paint To Sample Orange hue found both outside and inside (this might split a few opinions) the Neunelfer. Nevertheless, with only 23 units of the GT2 having reached the US, this is one of the just two PTS Orange vehicles produced.

As a bonus, the thing only has 2,400 miles on its odo, and since we're talking about excellent maintenance and a full service history, the desirability aura is massive here.

Then again, so is the price, with this Porscha being listed for a whopping $410,000. But with such a highly collectible piece, you should end up making a profit over the years.

Since the calendar tells us it's 2016, the 530 horses of this GT might not sound all that extravagant, but with its manual gearbox and its extreme character, the driving experience provided by the Zuffenahusen beast is nothing short of memorable.

To this day, the 991 generation of the 911 hasn't received a GT2 version. However, a recent series of spyshots shows what we expect to be the contemporary GT2 (certain sources talked about a GT2 RS). And with Porsche having used the 911 R to show it will bring manual back onto the table, some have high hopes for a clutch pedal in the most powerful 991, but we wouldn't hold our breath for it.

P.S.: When you're selling a car for such a sum, providing a gigantic photo gallery is the house specialty, which is why plenty of eye candy awaits you below.
