If you always wanted a BMW E30 M3 in mint condition and never could find one, you’re in luck as this weekend, at the Restoration Show sale held by Silverstone auctions in Birmingham one such car will go under the hammer.
It’s a 1986 model year car that runs a stock 2.3-liter 4-cylinder engine, a rare feat these days amongst E30s. Since it was manufactured it was bought by a Japanese collector and kept in perfect shape even after it switched ownership once again in 2009 only to reach this day with the odometer showing 141,000 km (87,000 miles).

It was also in 2009 that the car came back to Europe and started a complete restoration process including stripping it down to the bare metal and repainting it in its original Henna Red color, adding new window seal and refurbishing even the wheels.

In the engine department, everything was fully rebuilt with big end bearings, main bearings, new piston rings, cleaned valves, cleaned ports and powder coated block. The differential was rebuilt alongside the suspension while the oil pump, water pump, brake discs and pads were replaced with new ones.

Ever since its reconditioning, the car has been kept only in perfect conditions to be brought in front of a rich audience in Birmingham, UK, next Saturday, set to be sold for around £25,000 - £30,000. This is your chance!
