The all original and unrestored 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 we introduced you to about two weeks ago fetched an amazing $550,000 at the Mecum Auctions sale in Monterey last weekend.
With only 902 miles on its odometer and still having all of its original parts, including the window sticker and the factory plastic wraps on the seats and steering wheel, this black beauty of a musclecar went to a new garage for more than half a grand.

It didn’t manage to beat the all time record paid for a Mustang Boss 429 - $605,000 at a Barrett-Jackson auction in 2007 - and its pre-auction estimate of between $600,000 and 750,000, but that doesn’t make it less impressive.

One thing’s for sure, a certain driver will have a lot of fun in this pure classic. Just scroll below for more details on this fantastic piece of automotive history.
