1958 Ferrari 250GT Going Under the Hammer

It’s already time to think about Christmans presents and any automotive enthusiast has a huge list of vehicles that would make the perfect gift. This makes it difficult to choose, as there are many vehicles that can offer you a bouquet of sensations.

One of the creations that would certainly look perfect parked next to a shining Christmas tree with a generously-sized red ribbon on top is a 1958 Ferrari 250GT. We’ve chosen the classic vehicle as it will be auctioned next week.

The vehicle is currently displayed at London’s Duke Hotel. We have to tell you that you might have to rethink your Christmans shopping budget if you’re planning to take this baby home, as it is expected to fetch over one million pounds($1.55 million or EUR1.19 million).

The vehicle will be included in COYS’s True Greats auction, an event that is scheduled to be held at the Royal Horticultural Halls in London on Tuesday, December 7, 2010.

“This will be the biggest classic car auction in London this Christmas,” said the Managing Director of COYS, Chris Routledge: “We are seeing a lot of interest from investors in the City and elsewhere.”

The auction will include a wide variety of four-wheeled creations, some of which have had famous owners, with the cars expected to reach sky-high bids.

“These are the ultimate Christmas presents,” Routledge added. “But they are Christmas presents that will go up in value and are excellent investments for the future which is why they are attracting interest from people in the City.”
