A few months ago, Hennessey took to the World Wide Web to reveal a stunning take on the Cadillac CT-V Blackwing. The sedan boasts the tuner's H1000 bundle of upgrades and is so fast that its true rivals have blue blood running through their veins.
Courtesy of a high-flow supercharger, long-tune stainless steel headers, enhanced exhaust valves, intake, pushrods, and a few other things, this hyper sedan now enjoys 1,000 hp (1,014 ps/746 kW). The thrust is rated at 966 pound-feet (1,310 Nm), and it is a ten-second car down the quarter mile.

According to the Lone Star State tuner, the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing equipped with the H1000 package needs just two and a half seconds to hit sixty miles an hour (97 kph). Keep the right pedal down, and it will eventually hit over 200 mph (322 kph). That's a mind-bending performance for what is still an executive sedan.

Are you curious where that puts it compared to its stock self? Even though the top speed has pretty much remained the same, it is roughly one second faster to sixty. The acceleration is dealt with in 3.6 seconds when opting for the manual version and 3.4 seconds when ordering it with the ten-speed auto 'box. The engine is a 6.2-liter V8 with supercharging that yanks out 668 hp (678 ps/498 kW) and 659 lb-ft (893 Nm) of torque.

The non-Blackwing version of the Cadillac CT5-V packs a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 with 360 hp (365 ps/269 kW) and 405 lb-ft (549 Nm). You'll have to stick to the rear-wheel drive model to hit 62 mph in 4.6 seconds, as adding the all-wheel drive system will make it two-tenths slower. Flat-out, this car can do 156 mph (251 kph), the spec sheet reveals. As for the MSRP, the CT5-V Blackwing starts at $93,495 and the normal CT5-V at $51,495.

As for the reason we've all gathered here, it is to celebrate Hennessey's stunning take on the super sedan yet again. The tuner has just dropped another video starring the H1000 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, finished in Summit White on top of the gray and black interior that sports the Recaro seats. It is a stick shift car that packs the optional carbon ceramic brakes, and it was recently unleashed on a closed course to emphasize its greatness yet again.

At a little over one minute long, the video shared below is not an excuse to take a short snack break. However, it is worth watching, as it shows the four-door in its natural element. And yes, the music stops at one point to allow you to listen to that fabulous V8 whining every time the driver puts his right foot down. That said, enjoy!
