The Triumph Tiger Explorer, also known as the Triumph Tiger 1200 since November 2017, was a dual-sport motorcycle presented at the 2011 EICMA Motorcycle Show. Two models were available, the Tiger 1200 GT and Tiger 1200 Rally.
Both machines had similar specifications, except for the Rally model, which came with an off-road set-up that comprised wire-spoke wheels instead of the aluminum wheels found on the GT series.
In 2023, the British motorcycle manufacturer launched the Triumph 1200 Rally Pro, a machine focused on all-terrain adventure with 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wire-spoke wheels and tubeless tires.
Compared to its 1200 GT sibling, the 1200 Rally Pro model featured an additional Off-Road Pro riding mode, Triumph's most extreme set-up for advanced off-road adventure, with Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) and Traction Control in an off position and an off-road throttle map.
The 2023 Triumph 1200 Rally Pro was available in three color schemes: Snowdonia White, Sapphire Black, and Matte Khaki. The bike came with an MSRP of $22,995 and $26,295 CAD.
The 2023 Triumph 1200 Rally Pro's power was produced by a 1,160cc liquid-cooled inline three-cylinder engine managed by an electronic fuel injection system, boasting 150 hp with a peak at 9,000 rpm and 130 Nm (96 lb-ft) torque at 7,000 rpm.
The bike's suspension was handled by a 49 mm USD Showa fork on the front with 220 mm wheel travel and an adjustable Showa shock absorber on the rear with 220 mm wheel travel.
As for the stopping power, the machine packed a triple-disc braking system, with two 320 mm discs on the front and a 282 mm disc on the rear.
