The 800cc-class Marauder served as the platform upon which the 1600 version was built on, so it;s easy to figure out that this bike is loaded with both character and plenty of nerve, at least for the middleweight class. A torquey and crisp 805cc liquid-cooled v-twin is mated to a manual 5-speed transmission, but unlike the 1600 Marauder, the VZ800 has chain final drive.

Still, the 2004 MY VZ800 Marauder packs classic bobber styling, with a fat front tire, a bulbous tank and bars reaching back tot he comfy seat, forward-mounted foot controls and chrome in all the right places.

The 2004 MY VZ1600 Marauder builds on the Marauder 800 and takes things on the big-bore side of life. The power unit is a liquid-cooled SOHC 4 stroke v-twin which produces 73 hp and 125 Nm of torque to get you going and provides lots of passing nerve, as well as effortless highway speed. The 5-speed shaft transmission has aggressive close-ratio gearing.

With plenty of real estate for two, the Marauder 1600 opens a new chapter in Suzuki's history, adding to the overall comfort, and streetability. And with new, sportbike-derived suspensions and brakes, things also look goo on the safety side, as well.

Sleek, slender and mixing old-school design cues with modern bike-making technologies, the 2003 MY VZ800 Marauder is a great choice for those in search of a classic cruiser with a moderate displacement. The bulletproof 805cc liquid-cooled v-twin is easily manageable and does not intimidate new or less experienced riders. Its smooth-pulling character is neatly complemented by a 5-speed manual transmission which makes long hauls and city slicing equally rewarding.

Great as an everyday bike, the 2003 MY VZ800 Marauder can effortlessly take on longer trips, especially when equipped with a luggage system and a windscreen.

Stylish and functional, the VZ800 Marauder will turn heads and put a smile on your face at the same time, as its v-twin rumble and strong-pulling 5-speed transmission will make your day better both in the city and on the highway.

The wire spoked wheels have been replaced by cast rims and plenty of chrome which now contrasts with the darkened livery. Low and reassuring, the 2002 MY is a great all-rounder cruiser.

My VZ 800Z Marauder despite the passage of time can be enjoyed. This is due to the classic lines and calm the body and chrome accessories. Unfortunately, the appearance did not go hand in hand with ease. If the driver can not complain that the passenger will have little comfortable driving conditions.
