If you believe that a 400cc bike is just what you need, but the DR-Z400S has that off-road side you're not exactly fond of, here's a treat for the asphalt knights, the 2006 MY DR-Z400SM. If you're not an absolute noob in the two-wheeled world, you should know that you're in for a ton of fun, as the SM stands for Super Motard.
The DR-Z400SM packs in the sporty street aggression and sticky tires with the all-day rideability and top-drawer handling, but the bike can be tamed by newer riders, too. Of course, a 400cc-class machine can work miracles in the hands of a skilled motorcyclist...
