The DR-Z400S introduces a more moderate engine displacement for mastering the bike more easily, but there's nothing lazy about this nifty dual-sport bike. With unmistakable off-road looks, the 2009 MY DR-Z400S is not afraid to tackle fore roads, gravel and even muddy trails. Its compliant suspensions and generous ground clearance make things easy and funny, while the DS tires provide excellent asphalt grip both in the wet and dry.

Perfect as a weekend fun bike, the DR-Z400S is also a worthy commuter as it packs very good fuel economy and is very agile in the urban clutter. Even more, it can effortlessly do two-up, and adding a luggage system will only make things even more practical.
