SUZUKI Boulevard C50T (2012-2013) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2013, Suzuki launched the Boulevard C50T, a cruiser motorcycle ready to roll on journeys right from the factory. The bike received all the cool features and top-drawer ergonomics of the base C50 model, plus a bunch of other touring amenities.

For starters, the bike received a neat two-tone paint scheme with pinstripes and whitewall tires, leather bags, seats, and a passenger backrest, adorned with shiny metal studs, while the rider was protected by a height-adjustable windshield.

Like the base model, the C50T model offered a comfortable riding position and a relaxing riding experience matched by the top-end performance of a V-Twin engine designed to deliver low-mid torque right from the idle.

In the power department, the model featured a Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) fuel injection system for optimal fuel delivery, crisp throttle response, and maximum power throughout the rpm range and an Auto Fast Idle System (AFIS) that helped at cold engine starts.

With an 805cc four-stroke -Twin liquid-cooled engine, the model delivered an output power of 52 hp at 6,000 rpm and 69 Nm (51 lb-ft) of maximum torque available at 3,200 rpm. The power was transferred to the rear wheel through a five-speed manual transmission and a low-maintenance shaft drive.

The smooth-riding quality was offered by a telescopic fork on the front and a link-type rear suspension with a swingarm bolted to a seven-way adjustable single monoshock absorber.
