SUZUKI Boulevard C50T (2005-2006) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2006, Suzuki launched the Boulevard C50T, a cruiser motorcycle where the "T " suffix said pretty much everything about the model. It was a cruiser already equipped with the basic touring amenities straight from the box that featured the GSX-R fuel injection system.

The Boulevard C50T combined the soul of a classic cruiser with the V-twin performance that gave the bike a charge at every throttle twist, and also loaded with studded seats and matching leather saddlebags, a passenger backrest with the same studded pattern, and a height-adjustable windscreen for better weather protection during the long hauls.

The bike featured a cradle-type steel frame with color-matched side covers, fenders, a fuel tank, and several chrome-plated elements that gave it a retro-classic style. The wide handlebars with the forward-mounted floorboards and foot controls offered enhanced comfort, as well as the wide seat with the removable passenger seat.

In the power department, the model featured a fuel-injected 805cc V-Twin engine tuned for low rpm and torque with the Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) system, and a 32-bit Electronic Control Module (ECM). The crankshaft was designed for reduced engine vibration without a counterbalancer for a more comfortable ride.

The 2006 Suzuki Boulevard C50T delivered an output power of 45 hp at 4,000 rpm and 62 Nm (46 lb-ft) of torque at 4,000 rpm, sent to the rear wheel through a five-speed manual transmission.
