SUZUKI Boulevard C50SE (2007-2008) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2001, at Daytona Bike Week, Suzuki introduced the Boulevard C50, a cruiser motorcycle that, until 2005, was named Volusia, after Volusia County, Florida. With the release of the 2005 model, Suzuki rebranded the Volusia bike as the Suzuki Boulevard C50, which followed the formula of a smaller engine fitted in a frame made for a slightly larger engine.

The Volusia model manufactured from 2001 to 2005 was powered by a carburated engine until 2005 when the newly released Boulevard C50 Suzuki came with a fuel-injected engine but also carried over the components from the Volusia line.

In 2008, Suzuki launched the Boulevard C50SE, a middleweight cruiser that packed awesome custom styling just like the big bikes. This bike packed together the reliability and road worthiness of the base C50 model, with exclusive paint schemes, plenty of chrome, traditional-looking wire wheels, saddlebags, a passenger backrest, and a tall windshield.

Every one of the C50SE design elements worked together and created a custom classic cruiser image with its round, chromed headlight, pulled-back handlebar, valanced front fender, and wire-spoked wheels. To complete the image, the bike showed off with the teardrop fuel tank, stepped seat, chromed exhaust system, and topped with the performance of the C50 Boulevard.

In the power department, the SE model featured the same specifications as the base model with an 805cc four-stroke V-Twin liquid-cooled engine that delivered an output power of 50 hp at 6,500 rpm and 65 Nm (48 lb-ft) of torque available at 5,000 rpm.
