SUZUKI Boulevard C50 Special Edition (2012-2013) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2013, Suzuki prepared a special treat for US riders in the shape of the Boulevard C50 Special Edition. The bike featured an interesting blend of classic and modern design cues, but somehow, Suzuki made everything look natural and integrated the bike of yore with the present-day vibe.

The Boulevard C50 Special Edition arrived in two color schemes, with the details on the teardrop tank harking back to the '40s and the elegant golden pinstriping that provided a timeless attire.

Modern elements were represented by the cast-aluminum wheels, aggressive slash-but exhaust system, strong hydraulic brakes with drilled discs, plus things that were not visible but made a difference such as the precise top-notch electronic fuel injection system that offered a crisp throttle response, and the 32-bit Electronic Control Module (ECM) that delivered excellent driveability under all conditions.

The 2013 Suzuki Boulevard C50 Special Edition took its thrust from an 805cc four-stroke V-Twin liquid-cooled engine that delivered an output power of 52 hp at 6,000 rpm and 69 Nm (51 lb-ft) of torque available at 3,200 rpm.

Onto the cradle-type steel frame, the bike featured a telescopic fork with polished aluminum sliders and stainless-steel covers on the front and a link-type single seven-way adjustable monoshock on the rear that offered smooth suspension and a comfortable ride.
