SUZUKI Boulevard C50SEC (2008-2009) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2009, the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer launched the Boulevard C50SEC, a cruiser motorcycle based on the C50 Special Edition model, with touting amenities added in the shape of a removable windshield and leather saddle bags.

The SEC version retained all changes featured by the base C50 model year, such as the redesigned fenders, speedometer, and LED taillight.

The 2009 Suzuki Boulevard C50SEC was built on a new chassis as the base model, with key features such as the attractive leather seats with matching touring-style pivoting backrest for enhanced passenger comfort and an adjustable custom-designed windshield with a classic style that provided full wind protection.

In addition, the bike packed a couple of large capacity, textured saddle bags with twist-lock fasteners and Boulevard emblems but also retained the dual spark plugs system on each cylinder and traditional cast-aluminum wheels with chrome-plated rims.

Turning the page in the power department, the bike featured an 805cc V-Twin engine with a 32-bit ECM, a crankshaft designed to reduce vibrations for a more comfortable ride, a low-maintenance shaft drive, and a chromed exhaust system designed for a low sound and strong torque delivery.

The four-stroke liquid-cooled engine developed a power output of 45 hp at 4,000 rpm and 62 Nm (46 lb-ft) of maximum torque available at 4,000 rpm.
