SUZUKI Boulevard C50 Black (2007-2008) Specs, Performance & Photos

US riders got a special treat from Suzuki in the shape of the 2008 model year Boulevard C50 Black. Like on so many other occasions, the bike was in standard trim on the technical side but came with a different livery.

As opposed to the base model, which came in a two-tone paint scheme, the 2008 Boulevard C50 Black was, as its name said, a full-black bike, with the darkened gloss contrast with chromed and polished metal parts, just like the classy old-school two-wheelers used to be.

The Boulevard C50 Black retained the liquid-cooled 805cc v-twin engine paired with a five-speed manual transmission and low-maintenance shaft drive. The engine provided enough power and low-end torque for easy transit in the city, while the moderate weight made the Boulevard C50 Black easy to ride even on narrow winding roads.

The four-stroke V-Twin liquid-cooled engine took its thrust from an 805cc engine that delivered an output power of 50 hp at 6,500 rpm and 65 Nm (48 lb-ft) of torque at 5,000 rpm.

The 2008 Suzuki Boulevard C50 Black packed a suspension composed of a conventional telescopic fork on the front and a seven-way preload adjustable monoshock on the rear.

The chrome-plated wire-spoked rims were equipped with a large 300 mm disc on the front and a 180 mm drum unit on the rear that acted as braking power.
