SUZUKI Boulevard C50 Black (2006-2007) Specs, Performance & Photos

To meet the expectations of riders that searched for the soberest and most elegant cruiser, Suzuki launched the Boulevard C50 Black in 2007.

There was no bling aboard this bike, only sleek, elegant glossy black paint, and chrome, with few polished metal accents and wire-spoked wheels that complemented the plunging fenders, while the studs from the seats were gone.

New features for the 2007 C50 Black included the redesigned front brake master cylinder, brake lever, clutch lever, handlebar switches, and also a new fuel gauge added to the speedometer. Optional features included the passenger backrest and a touring windshield.

The fuel-mounted speedometer featured an LCD fuel gauge with clock and indicator lights, with the wiring carefully routed for a detailed look. The model featured the same wide comfortable seat with the removable passenger seat and wide handlebar, forward-mounted floorboards, and foot controls as the base model.

The engine featured a Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) fuel injection system for smooth throttle response and high-output torque, a 32-bit ECM, and a custom-styled exhaust system designed for a deep roaring sound and tuned for low rpm power.

The 2007 Suzuki Boulevard C50 Black had at its core an 805cc four-stroke V-Twin liquid-cooled engine that delivered an output power of 45 hp at 4,000 rpm and 62 Nm (46 lb-ft) of torque available at 4,000 rpm. The power was sent to the rear wheel through a five-speed manual transmission and a low-maintenance shaft drive.
