Since its first introduction in 2005, like the rest of the motorcycles that featured the Boulevard emblem, the C50 model signified an important step toward the success of cruisers with the amazing powerplant that offered pure excitement on the boulevard or out on the highway.

Modern technology and a classic look in a middleweight bike were not dreamed territory, and in 2008, Suzuki launched the Boulevard C50, a cruiser motorcycle that proved such things exist.

The classic cruiser came with features such as wire-spoked wheels, a chunky front tire under a deeply valanced fender complemented by a similar one on the rear, and a large chrome headlight adorning the front end.

On the engine side, this classic cruiser sported a moderate 805cc V-Twin lump with a five-speed manual transmission with plenty grunt for both city slicing and highway runs. The 805cc four-stroke V-Twin liquid-cooled engine delivered an output power of 50 hp at 6,500 rpm and 65 Nm (48 lb-ft) of torque available at 5,000 rpm.

For suspension, the bike packed a conventional telescopic fork on the front and a seven-way preload adjustable monoshock on the rear linked to pair of wire-spoked wheels. Onto the wheels, the 2008 Suzuki Boulevard C50 packed a 300 mm disc with a two-piston caliper on the front and a 180 mm drum unit on the rear that acted as braking power.
