SUZUKI Boulevard C50 (2006-2007) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2007, Suzuki released the Boulevard C50, a tourer motorcycle that had the soul of a classic cruiser combined with the performance of a V-Twin engine. The Boulevard featured a classic design with flowing lines, a puled-back handlebar, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a stepped seat, and a boldly balanced rear fender.

The bike offered a comfortable, spacious seating position while the powerplant was tuned for low-mid range torque, which provided sharp acceleration right from above the idle.

Some of the new features included in the 2007 Boulevard were a new fuel gauge added to the speedometer and redesigned front brake master cylinder, brake lever, and handlebar switches.

The speedometer was mounted on the fuel tank and featured a fuel gauge, clock, and indicator lights. On the front, a powerful multi-reflector headlight was mounted into an attractive case with a stylish headlight rim and interrupted at the start-up for a reduced load on the battery.

The engine featured a Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) fuel injection that delivered smooth low-mid rpm throttle response and high torque output and a 32-bit ECM that offered excellent drivability under all conditions.

The 2007 Suzuki Boulevard C50 took its thrust from an 805cc four-stroke V-Twin liquid-cooled engine that delivered a power output of 50 hp at 6,500 rpm and 65 Nm (48 lb-ft) of torque at 5,000 rpm and equipped with a five-speed manual transmission where the fifth gear featured high ratio for a relaxed highway cruising speed.
