The 2009 year model of the Kawasaki KX85 I is one of the best choices when it comes to teaching young riders about what motocross and dirt racing is all about. Being a scaled-down version of the big bikes, this motorcycle still packs quite a lot of punch and offers both a great learning platform and a nifty racing character.
It sports adjustable suspension and high-performance disc brakes, a revised radiator and enhanced ergonomics, just any other racing motorcycle would, while the narrow profile of the bike and its sturdy perimeter steel frame offer enhanced handling and allow a more aggressive steering through fast turns, and that's what racing is all about.
