KAWASAKI ER-6n ABS (2014-Present) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Kawasaki ER-6n was a standard naked motorcycle manufactured by Kawasaki since 2006, alongside its faired sister, the Kawasaki ER-6f. The bike was powered by a parallel-twin engine and offered modern styling and features.

Both motorcycles were introduced in 2006, but unlike the ER-6f faired model, the Kawasaki ER-6n naked version was not sold in the American market until 2009. Also, the bike fits above the Ninja 250R and 500R.

In 2014, the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer launched the Kawasaki ER-6n, a naked machine that packed the same visual, technical, and performance specifications as the previous model without any modification whatsoever.

The motorcycle was equipped with standard features, such as a front cowl with a single headlight unit, a small fly screen, a two-piece dual seat with passenger grab rails, an under-belly exhaust system, and six-spoke lightweight wheels.

Underneath its fuel tank, the 2014 Kawasaki ER-6n ABS had installed a 649cc four-stroke parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine fed by an electronically controlled fuel injection system, delivering 72 hp with maximum strength at 8,500 rpm and 64 Nm (47 lb-ft) torque at 7,000 rpm.

The bike was built around a perimeter high tensile steel frame with a 41 mm telescopic fork on the front that offered 125 mm of travel and an offset lay-down adjustable shock absorber on the rear that provided 130 mm of travel.
