KAWASAKI ER-6n (2011-2012) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Kawasaki ER-6n was a naked motorcycle manufactured by Kawasaki from 2006 alongside its faired sister, the ER-6f. Unlike the faired version, the naked model was not sold in the American market until 2009.

In 2009, the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer introduced the Kawasaki ER-6n in the American market, featuring the passenger handles as standard like the faired model, and the Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) was made available for both models.

In 2011, The Japanese maker launched the Kawasaki ER-6n, a naked motorcycle in its sixth year of production that came with several modifications, like a new chassis, a curved swingarm, air ducts placed between the frame tubes, a revised front cowl, and a smoked visor for a more aggressive look.

The bike was fitted with standard features, such as a small front cowl with a single headlight unit, a two-piece dual seat with passenger grab handles, an under-belly exhaust system, a side stand, and six-spoke lightweight aluminum wheels.

Suspension-wise, the bike packed a 41 mm telescopic fork on the front and an offset lay-down adjustable shock absorber on the rear, delivering excellent suspension performance and handling capabilities.

As for the power figures, the 2011 Kawasaki ER-6n had installed a 649cc four-stroke parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine underneath its fuel tank, boasting 72 hp with a peak force at 8,500 rpm and 64 Nm (47 lb-ft) torque at 7,000 rpm.
