KAWASAKI ER-6f 2012-2013

The Kawasaki ER-6f, also known as the Ninja 650R or EX-6, was a standard motorcycle that debuted in 2005, sold to the public in 2006, and manufactured until 2017. The bike featured modern styling, a low riding position, and a low center of gravity.

In 2012, the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer launched the Kawasaki ER-6f, a standard machine with edgy, aggressive styling and excellent performance. The bike packed the same features as the previous model without significant modifications.

In the aesthetic department, the bike was equipped with standard features, such as a full fairing with a dual headlight system, a tall windscreen, a two-piece dual seat with passenger grab rails, a single exhaust system mounted underneath the engine, and six-spoke lightweight alloy wheels.

The bike was built around a high-tensile twin-tube steel frame with a 41 mm telescopic fork on the front and an adjustable offset shock absorber on the rear, delivering excellent suspension performance and handling.

As for the braking power, the bike packed two semi-floating petal discs tied to dual-piston calipers on the front wheel and a 220 mm petal disc with a single-piston caliper on the rear wheel, offering optimum braking performance.

Underneath its fuel tank, the 2012 Kawasaki ER-6f had installed a 649cc four-stroke liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that delivered an output power of 72 hp at 8,500 rpm and 64 Nm (47 lb-ft) torque at 7,000 rpm.
