The Kawasaki Concours 14, also known as the 1400GTR and ZG1400 in some markets was a sport touring motorcycle that debuted in 2007 as a replacement for the Kawasaki Concours (GTR1000) and continued production until 2022.

In 2011, the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer launched the Kawasaki Concours 14 ABS, based on the successful Ninja ZX-14. As its name says, the bike packs a safety feature in the form of ABS.

Also, the 2011 machine benefited from the 2010 update that included the Kawasaki traction control system (KTRC) and Kawasaki Advanced Coactive-Braking Technology (K-ACT), which replaced the previous Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS).

The bike had standard features, such as a dual headlight system, an electrically adjustable windscreen, a two-piece dual seat, a small luggage rack with integrated passenger grab rails, side-mounted hard panniers, and 10-spoke lightweight aluminum wheels.

The 2011 Kawasaki Concours 14 ABS had its heartbeat set by a 1,352cc four-stroke four-cylinder liquid-cooled engine managed by a fuel injection system, delivering 156 hp at 8,800 rpm and 140 Nm (103 lb-ft) torque at 6,200 rpm.

The bike's power was handled by a six-speed manual transmission with a wet multi-disc clutch and sent to the rear wheel through a tetra-lever final shaft drive, pushing the motorcycle to a top speed of 254 kph (158 mph).

From top speed to a complete halt, the bike relied on two 310 mm discs with four-piston calipers on the front wheel and a 270 mm disc with a dual-piston caliper on the rear wheel.
