The "i" suffix in the Brute Force 650 4x4i introduces full independent suspensions for both the front and rear ends. Even though this is the only major difference of the Brute Force 650 4x4i over the standard version, this introduces a whole new world of possibilities. The independent suspensions offer better ground tracking on rough terrain, improving traction and smoothing out road irregularities for a less fatiguing ride in increased safety conditions. Aside the double wishbone stepped-preload suspensions, the Brute Force 650 4x4i is identical to the base model.
