The 2011 MY Brute Force 650 4x4 is the basic upper-middleweight off-roader you need to get the tough jobs done and tread the roughest trails in confidence. This 633 liquid-cooled v-twin can effortlessly change from 2WD to 4WD when times need it, and thanks to its limited-slip differential and automatic dual-range transmission, there are rather few situations when it will be unable to deliver.
Good ground clearance and beefy wheels offer excellent passability over obstacles, especially as the preload of the piggy-back suspensions is adjustable. This means loading a lot of gear on the cargo racks does not come with problems, at least as long as you strap you stuff in place well.
