The 2007 MY Harley Davidson XL 883R Sportster 883R sports an air-cooled, 883cc, Evolution V-twin powerhouse mated to a five-speed manual transmission, and can produce 75 Nm of torque at 3500 rpm. Unlike its 883, sibling, this machine has been fitted with several features that increase its performance, but also make it look the part, such as the high-end braking system with dual front discs, the new gauges with odometer clock, low fuel warning light and two trip set odometers, a new, lighter clutch effort, the black finish on the low-rise handlebar, the air cleaner cover, the fork sliders and the headlamp eyebrow and springs, plus the black, 13-spoked, cast-aluminium wheels.
