The 1981 MY Harley Davidson FLHS 1340 Electra Glide, unlike its previous embodiments, has been stripped down to a more basic level, which improve its agility and performance levels. In addition, it has been equipped with forward-mounted controls, an FX-style step seat, pull-back, buckhorn handlebars, for a more laid-back and comfortable riding position. At its heart lies an air-cooled, four-stroke, 1337cc, V-Twin powerplant mated to a five-speed manual transmission, and can produce 65 horsepower and 94 Nm of torque.
