The 1979 MY Harley Davidson FLH 80 Electra Glide has, at its heart, an air-cooled, four-stroke, 1337cc, V-Twin powerhouse mated to a four-speed manual transmission and can produce 67 horsepower at 6000 rpm. Unlike its previous embodiment, the 1979 MY model has been equipped with a larger and more powerful engine, one of the most biggest displacements available on a touring machine at the time. Standard features include but are not limited to a dual shock rear suspension, hard, lockable saddlebags, full-coverage fenders with chrome accents, a solo seat, a rear luggage rack and lots of chrome-plating.
