The 1992 MY Gilera Nordwest 350 has, at its heart, a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 349cc, single cylinder powerplant that was mated to a five-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive, and can produce a claimed 33 horsepower at 7500 rpm.

Also, it has standard fittings such as a half-fairing with a small windscreen, die-cast aluminium wheels, a single seat, a rear luggage rack, wide handlebars, analogue instrumentation dials, a 41mm telescopic front fork coupled to a rear monoshock, dual front disc brakes and a two-tone paint scheme.
