The 2003 MY Gilera Nexus 500 has at its heart a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 460cc, single cylinder powerhouse paired to a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and can reach a maximum power output of 40 horsepower and 43 Nm of torque.
Also, it comes with a large, detachable windshield, a dual seat with lumbar support for the rider, an under-seat storage compartment, dual headlights, a small fairing, a center stand, cast-aluminium wheels, a 41mm Kayaba telescopic front fork, a Kayaba monoshock with progressive linkage in the rear, dual front disc brakes and a digital and analogue instrument cluster.
