The 1988 MY Gilera MX-1 125 has, at its heart, a liquid-cooled, two-stroke, 124cc, single cylinder powerhouse that was paired to a six-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive, and can reach a maximum power output of 28 horsepower at 10000 rpm.
In addition, it has been fitted with a 35mm Marzocchi telescopic front fork, a Boge adjustable monoshock as a rear suspension, a full-fairing with a windscreen, cast-aluminium wheels, a single seat, analogue instrumentation dials, front and rear disc brakes and a steel frame.
