DUCATI Streetfighter S (2010-2011) Specs, Performance & Photos

Ducati took over the drive for the Streetfighter from the discontinued top model of the brand at the time, the Ducati 1098. Due to a modified airbox, the Streetfighter has five hp less than the Ducati 1098. The Streetfighter is a converted superbike without fairings, a longer wheelbase, and a wider handlebar.

In 2011, Ducati released the new Streetfighter S which comes with features such as forged aluminum Marchesini wheels, a carbon-fiber front fender, cam belt covers, a digital instrumentation display, and technologies such as Ducati Traction Control (DTC) and Ducati Data Analyzer (DDA).

The Streetfighter S has at its heart a 1099cc L-Twin Desmodromic liquid-cooled engine and a six-speed manual transmission, which develops a power of 148 hp at 9,500 rpm and 109 Nm (80 lb-ft) of torque at 9,500 rpm. The gases are pushed from the engine through a lightweight 2-1-2 system with a catalytic converter and twin stainless steel mufflers.

For suspension, the Streetfighter S has a 43mm Ohlins fully adjustable upside-down Tin-coated fork on the front side and an Ohlins fully adjustable monoshock with progressive linkage on the rear.

The braking power is provided by 330 mm discs, four-piston calipers, Brembo Monobloc on the front, and a 245 mm disc, two-piston caliper on the back.

The 2011 Ducati Streetfighter S has five-spoke forged aluminum wheels and Pirelli Diablo Corsa tires.
