DUCATI Streetfighter S (2008-2009) Specs, Performance & Photos

Ducati started manufacturing Streetfighter motorcycles in 2009. The discontinued 1098 was the top model of the brand at the time, from where Ducati took over the drive for the Streetfighter. Designed by Damien Basset, the Streetfighter was presented in 2008 at the EICMA fair in Milan and manufactured from 2009.

The upgraded S version of the 2009 Streetfighter was equipped with better chassis components, forged wheels, and parts made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic.

The 2009 Streetfighter S was taking its energy from the 1099cc four-stroke DOHC Desmodromic liquid-cooled engine matted with a six-speed manual gearbox, bursting 155 hp of power at 9,500 rpm and 115 Nm (85 lb-ft) of torque at 9,500 rpm.

The exhaust was a 2-1-2 system with a catalytic converter and two lambda probes, and at the end, there were two stainless steel mufflers.

On the tubular steel trellis frame in ALS 450, the suspension is mounted and composed of a 43mm Ohlins fully adjustable upside-down Tin-coated fork on the front and an Ohlins fully adjustable monoshock with progressive linkage at the rear.

The Streetfighter S braking power was given by two Brembo 330 mm discs, four-piston calipers on the front, and a 245 mm disc tow-piston caliper on the back.

The wheels on the model were made of forged aluminum in a five-spoke design and used Pirelli Diablo Corsa tires. The dry weight of the Streetfighter S is 167 kg (368 lbs).
