DUCATI Streetfighter 848 (2013-2014) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Streetfighter 848 was introduced in 2011, and it’s been using the Testastretta engine from the 848, a motorcycle model of the Superbike class made by Ducati. A streetfighter motorcycle is a converted superbike without fairings, a powerful engine, and an aggressive appearance. The first Streetfighter motorcycle was presented in 2008 by Ducati at the EICMA fair in Milan.

The 2014 Streetfighter 848 was released by Ducati powered by an 849cc Testastretta L-Twin liquid-cooled engine controlled by a six-speed manual transmission and generating 125 hp of power at 10,000 rpm and 89 (66 lb-ft) of torque at 9,750 rpm. The model has a dry weight of 169 kg (373 lbs), and a claimed top speed of 243 kph (151 mph).

On the front side of the tubular steel Trellis frame is a Marzocchi 43mm fully adjustable USD fork and on the back side is a progressive linkage with a fully adjustable monoshock, playing the part of the suspension.

The two 320mm semi-floating discs, radially mounted Brembo 4-piston calipers on the front and 245mm disc, 2-piston caliper on the rear, generate the stopping power for the Streetfighter 848.

Like all the models from the family, the 848 wears a pair of Pirelli Diablo Corsa tires mounted on lightweight aluminum 10-spoke design wheels. The 2014 Ducati Streetfighter 848 was for sale in 2022 starting from $7,000.
