The Streetfighter is a Ducati motorcycle designed by Damien Basset and made from 2009. In 2011 Ducati released the Streetfighter 848, a smaller model that targeted people who prefer a less extreme design than the big Streetfighters.

The Streetfighter 848, driven by Eric Piscione, once held the Middleweight lap record at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (the famous Race to the Clouds) which is an annual automobile Hillclimb in Colorado.

In 2013 Ducati released the revised Streetfighter 848, powered by an 849cc L-Twin Desmodromic liquid-cooled engine with a six-speed manual gearbox, delivering 125 hp of power at 10,000 rpm and 89 Nm (66 lb-ft) of torque at 9,750 rpm. The 848's dry weight was 169 kg (373 lbs), and it could hit a top speed of 243 kph (151 mph).

For suspension, the Streetfighter 848 has a 43 mm Marzocchi fully adjustable upside-down fork on the front, a Sachs fully adjustable monoshock with progressive linkage on the rear, and both front and rear suspension mounted on a tubular steel Trellis frame.

In the braking department, the 848 has two 320 mm semi-floating discs on the front and a 245 mm disc on the rear. The wheels were made of lightweight black-finished aluminum in a 10-spoke design and fitted with Pirelli Diablo Corsa tires.
