DUCATI Streetfighter (2009-2010) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Ducati Streetfighter, a converted superbike without fairings, was manufactured in 2009. The main traits of this motorcycle are powerful engines and an aggressive look. It was first introduced in 2008 at the EICMA fair in Milan, setting itself apart from a superbike through the a longer swingarm, thus a longer wheelbase, as well a wider handlebar.

In 2010 Ducati released the new model of the Streetfighter range that comes with a MotoGP style, a single seat with lumbar support, and Marchesini lightweight wheels.

The 2010 model, powered by a 1099cc L-Twin Desmodromic liquid-cooled engine bolted to a six-speed manual transmission, delivers a power of 148 hp at 9,500 rpm and 109 Nm (80 lb-ft) of torque at 9,500 rpm.

The exhaust is composed of a lightweight 2-1-2 system with a catalytic converter and two lambda sensors, and twin stainless steel silencers at the end.

The 2010 Streetfighter uses the same tubular steel Trellis frame in ALS 450 as its predecessor, on which is mounted the suspension composed of a Showa 43 mm fully adjustable USD fork on the front and a Showa fully adjustable monoshock with progressive linkage on the rear.

The 2010 Ducati Streetfighter uses a pair of Pirelli Diablo Corsa tires mounted on light alloy 10-spoke design wheels.

The dry weight of the model is 169 kg (373 lbs).
