DUCATI Multistrada 620 Polizei (2006-2007) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Ducati Multistrada 620 was an entry-level motorcycle that debuted in 2005 and was part of the Multistrada range that comprised various models with different engine displacements and similar appearances.

In 2006, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer launched the Ducati Multistrada 620 Polizei, a half-naked machine especially designed and created for law enforcement units in Germany, by adding several accessories and electronics.

Compared to the base model, the Polizei version was fitted with hard, lockable side-mounted panniers, a single seat, a rear luggage rack, handguards, special warning lights, and a unique paint scheme.

In other departments, the bike was fitted with the same standard features as the base model, such as a half fairing, a front cowl with a medium-sized windscreen, a dual exhaust system with two mufflers mounted under the seat, and a dual-sided aluminum swingarm.

As for power, the 2006 Ducati Multistrada 620 Polizei took its muscles from a 618cc four-stroke V-twin air-cooled engine with a fuel injection system in charge, boasting 61 hp with a peak force at 8,750 rpm and 54 Nm (40 lb-ft) torque at 6,500 rpm.

In the braking department, the bike's three-spoke wheels were fitted with a 330 mm disc, a four-piston caliper on the front wheel, and a 245 mm disc with a two-piston caliper on the rear wheel, delivering reliable stopping power.
