DUCATI Multistrada 620 (2006-2007) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Ducati Multistrada 620 was an entry-level motorcycle introduced in 2005, with various individual components, such as a double-sided swingarm similar to the one used on the Monster model, integrated die-cast front and rear footpegs, and three-spoke aluminum wheels.

The bike was built on a frame as big as the one used on the 1000DS model but with modifications at the rear for the double-sided swingarm. It also packed many identical components to the 1000DS model, including all body panels and the fuel tank that had the same size but carried less fuel.

In 2006, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer launched the Ducati Multistrada 620, a half-naked machine that came in the same package as previous models without any significant modifications.

For appearance, the bike was fitted with standard features, such as a half fairing, a mid-sized windscreen, a two-piece dual seat with a passenger grab handle, a dual exhaust system mounted under the seat, and three-spoke aluminum wheels.

As for the power figures, the 2006 Ducati Multistrada 620 had its soul brought to life by a 618cc four-stroke air-cooled V-twin engine fed by an electronically controlled fuel injection system, delivering an output power of 61 hp at 8,750 rpm and 54 Nm (40 lb-ft) torque at 6,500 rpm.

The bike's power was handled by a six-speed manual transmission that spun the rear wheel through a final chain drive, pushing the bike to 193 kph (120 mph).
