The Ducati Desmosedici RR was a fully faired sports motorcycle presented in 2006 and manufactured in limited numbers from 2007 to 2008. The Ducati Corse department made the bike in a street-legal version of the racing prototype used in the 2006 World Championship.

The bike was made with lightweight materials, as well as the engine with titanium valves and con-rods, sand-cast aluminum alloy crankcase and heads, and sand-cast magnesium engine covers.

In 2007, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer launched the Ducati Desmosedici RR, a sports machine dressed in a full fairing with a race-inspired graphic scheme, an MSRP of $65,000, and in limited numbers. Although the high price, all 1,500 units made were sold.

In the visual department, the bike packed a full fairing with a small windscreen, a dual headlight system, a single seat, an under-seat-mounted exhaust system, a side stand, and seven-spoke lightweight wheels.

The bike's suspension system comprised a 43 mm adjustable upside-down TiN-coated Ohlins fork on the front and an adjustable shock absorber on the rear, delivering excellent suspension performance and handling.

As for power, the 2007 Ducati Desmosedici RR had installed underneath its bodywork a 989cc four-stroke liquid-cooled V4 engine with a fuel injection system in charge, delivering an output power of 200 hp at 13,800 rpm and 117 Nm (86 lb-ft) torque at 10,500 rpm.
