The 2014 MY Beta 498RR Race Edition was designed to suit the taste of those riders who want a more "one-of-a-kind" feel on their enduro bike, but are not in the market for a factory team. Still, with gorgeous looks and some of the works features installed, the 498RR Race Edition is a looker that also delivers.
The Race Edition sports the same engine as the base 498RR, a four-stroke, liquid-cooled, 497cc, single cylinder paired to a dependable, six-speed manual transmission.
The Florentine engineers have fitted the Race Edition with features such as a 48mm Marzocchi closed cartridge fork, strong billet aluminium foot pegs and chain adjuster blocks, a black shifter and rear brake pedal plus special graphics molded into the radiator shrouds.
